The BU-LABNET is a network of Buruli ulcer PCR laboratories in the African endemic region, committed to improving the PCR diagnosis of Buruli ulcer by the utilization of standardized testing protocols, involvement in external quality assurance program and knowledge sharing between member laboratories.

Vision statement

Reaching for quality Buruli ulcer PCR diagnosis in the African continent and integration of other neglected tropical skin diseases (NTDs) in the PCR based platform for case confirmation.
