In May 2023, the American Leprosy Missions donated real-time PCR equipment to 3 member laboratories of the BU-LABNET as part of capacity-building activities of the network.

These laboratories are:

• Centre Pasteur du Cameroun;
• St. Joseph Hospital Adazi, Anambra State, Nigeria;
• Institut National de Recherche Biomédicale, Kinshasa, DR Congo.
